(1) If any police officer employed in the course of government work is disabled due to an accident, if he dies due to the same cause, if he needs to be treated for injuries, or if the family or descendants of such police officer is disabled, there shall be one of the following committees to make recommendations regarding gratuity, gratuity or medical expenses: -
(a) Representative of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers,
(b) Representative of the Ministry of Finance,
(c) Head of Personnel Administration Branch of the Centre.
(2) The committee as per sub-rule (1) shall have the right to investigate whether the death or injury of the police personnel employed in the center is due to government work or not and also make recommendations regarding disability.
